Hot Air Balloonists compete in morning and evening flights as they float over Frankenmuth. Experience the Village of Balloons at night with the Balloon Glow! Watch 15+ tethered balloons inflate, then interact with the pilots & crew.
To get last minute location & timing on hot air balloon launch information, contact the Bavarian Inn Lodge Operator at 989-652-7200. Organizers will keep in contact with them on their morning & evening launch position.

Arrival: All Balloon Teams Arrive in Frankenmuth in the morning.

Flight #1 – Evening Competition and flight activity. Flight to launch from Frankenmuth River Place Shops Field (East of River Place Shops)
9:00 – 10:00 PM
Balloon Glow Event – Frankenmuth River Place Shops Field, Experience the Village of Balloons! Watch 15+ tethered balloons inflate then interact with the pilots & crew.
Saturday, May 25
6:00 – 8:00 AM
Flight #2 – Morning Competition and flight activity. Flight to launch up-wind of downtown Frankenmuth & Fly over Community
7:00 – 8:30 PM
Flight #3 – Evening Competition and flight activity. Flight to launch from Frankenmuth River Place Shops Field (East of River Place Shops)
