DESCRIPTION:Movement Electronic Music Festival is coming back in 2022. Movement will be held in downtown Detroit in Hart Plaza. The festival takes place over Memorial Day Weekend. \nThe first day of the 2022 festival is Saturday\, May 28 and the last day of the festival is Monday\, May 30. Festival hours are as follows:\nSaturday\, May 28: 2pm-Midnight\nSunday\, May 29: 2pm-Midnight\nMonday\, May 30: 2pm-11pm \nThe house and techno festival has been cancelled the past two years due to the pandemic. Now\, the Movement Electronic Music Festival hopes it can go ahead without any major pandemic-related issues. \nClick here to see the complete Movement 2022 lineup in alphabetical order.\nClick here to see the artists and what day they’re set to perform. \nSign up for advance tickets on Movement Electronic Music Festival website. \nMovement Electronic Music Festival is an annual electronic dance music event held in the birthplace of Techno\, Detroit\, each Memorial Day weekend since 2006. Previous electronic music festivals held at Hart Plaza on Memorial Day weekend include Detroit Electronic Music Festival (2000–2002)\, Movement (2003–2004) and Fuse-In (2005). The four different festival names reflect completely separate and distinct producers\, brands and directions. All of these festivals presented performances by musicians and DJs that emphasized the progressive qualities of the culture surrounding electronic music including the celebration of Detroit being the birthplace of the popular electronic music subgenre Techno.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2nd Annual Ferndale Wellness Fair! We are so looking forward to our second event and hoping to have a beautiful sun shiny day and zero construction this year! \nThe On-Site Food Truck is the hugely popular Rockys Road Brew! Delicious vegan tacos\, coffee\, sodas\, and all other kinds of handmade deliciousness. They’re famous for their fried avocado tacos…yummmm. \nClass Schedule: \n12pm-GVST Wellness Hatha Yoga \n1pm-GVST Wellness Slow Flow Yoga \n2pm-Outdoor Tai Chi with Ginseng \n3pm-Hula Hooping Class with Stephanie Mae(May be indoor or outdoor) \n4pm-GVST Wellness Yoga Nidra \n*Some classes will be accompanied by Demetrius Thomas on the steel drums!!!* \nClasses will be held inside and are free\, drop in as desired\, while the fair will be held outside(unless otherwise indicated.) \nThis is a kid and dog friendly event! \nWe are so excited to have a huge variety of vendors this year from the local area-offerings include: \nmassage\, mini facials\, mandala making\, CBD products\, self-care products galore\, teas\, crystals\, festival makeup application\, hula hoops\, life coaching\, gluten free/vegan donuts\, handmade jewelry\, natural skin and hair care\, community cat rescue and maybe adoptions\, doula and prenatal /childbirth non-profit and education\, aerial arts\, stress management facilitators\, psychic readings\, vegan desserts\, and more wellness services! \nWe will also be having a free book table exchange! Bring some books to drop off and pick some up! \nParking is free and is located onsite and on the street as well. The event is free to attend and easy to access. \nIt’s important that we continue to support our local small businesses who work tirelessly to keep our circular economy going. \nWe look forward to another successful year!
